Rachel Holtz, LCSW

Rachel approaches therapy with the belief that all people are inherently good. She creates a warm and nonjudgmental therapeutic space, where her clients feel safe and understood. She empowers and advocates for clients of all ages, including those who are pre-verbal.

Rachel’s work with younger children focuses on play, in an environment where they can safely explore their inner worlds. Her work with older children and adolescents often addresses social, academic, and family challenges. Rachel also works with parents, helping them to understand and address their children’s unique needs and behaviors.

Rachel received her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. She has specialized training in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP).
