Personal Statement:
I aspire to connect with others in a joyful and comforting way, and this vision is ever-present in my clinical work. I encourage my clients to accomplish their goals, celebrate their strengths, and grow through challenges.
Seeking a psychotherapist for yourself or your child can be a daunting task. While credentials and therapeutic expertise are very important, feeling at ease with your therapist will solidify your connection and motivate you to work toward your goals for being in therapy. In my clinical work, I strive to support my clients with navigating their lives and relationships with clarity, confidence, and optimism via dedicated, respectful, and compassionate care, honest feedback, and effective strategies. I welcome clients who are experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, familial conflict, depression, and grief. Using a culturally-responsive lens in my work, I value the influence community and upbringing have on our lives. With my extensive background in special education and school-based clinical work, my treatment will benefit families who need assistance with academic planning, social skills training, parenting techniques, or executive functioning coaching.
