Personal Statement
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults managing challenges related to anxiety and executive functioning struggles. My focus is on meeting each patient where they are, working collaboratively to problem-solve, and building strategies that help them reach their goals. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and systems-oriented, meaning I partner closely with patients, families, and school professionals to support the whole individual within the environments that shape their daily lives.
I empower patients to advocate for themselves, solve problems, and regulate emotions. Through interactive sessions, they develop effective coping strategies and decision-making skills that foster lasting confidence and self-esteem. My approach emphasizes use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help children, adolescents, and adults manage anxiety, build social skills, improve executive functioning skills, and foster meaningful interpersonal relationships. Parent training provides clients with targeted behavioral interventions, establishment of positive routines, and strengthening of parent-child relationships.
Qualifications
I love supporting individuals and their families as they navigate challenges. Together, we build practical tools to manage emotions, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch my patients grow in confidence, self-understanding, and resilience.
