Personal statement

As a dedicated therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults, I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths and become who they want to be. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a safe and supportive environment for personal growth. Whether navigating life transitions, building resilience, or working through emotional challenges, I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing and positive change.

Background

Blythe received her Master of Social Work from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. She also holds a Master of Education from Stanford University and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley. She has experience working with all age groups from preschool through retirement, and has worked in numerous settings including schools, community centers, mental health agencies, and more. As a former special education teacher and a mother to two neuro-spicy kids, Blythe is familiar with the 504 and IEP process and has worked extensively with individuals with learning differences, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and intergenerational trauma. She uses a relational, trauma-informed, evidence-based framework with her clients.
